Tourist Pensioner Visa
This program is designed for retirees who receive a monthly pension for life of at least $1,000. Beneficiaries can enjoy permanent residency, tax exemptions, and discounts on services such as transportation, entertainment, and health. Relocate Services takes care of the entire process, from filing documents to obtaining a visa.

Friendly Country Visa
The Friendly Country Visa is designed for citizens of countries included in the list of “friendly countries” who wish to establish economic or professional ties in Panama. Applicants can initially obtain temporary residence and, later, permanent residence, enjoying advantages such as a work permit.

Person of Means
The Solvency Program is aimed at people who wish to obtain residency in Panama through a minimum investment of US$300,000. The applicant can choose one of three investment options: a fixed-term deposit, property purchase, or a combination of both. This program initially grants temporary residency and the option to apply for permanent residency.

Qualified Investor
This program allows foreigners to obtain permanent residency in Panama through specific economic investments. Applicants can choose between three investment options: property purchase, fixed-term deposit, or investment through a brokerage firm in Panama. Residency is granted immediately and allows dependents to be included in the application. Investments must come from abroad.

Panama-Italy Agreement
This program is designed for Italian citizens who wish to obtain permanent residency in Panama. It requires establishing an economic or professional link in Panama, allowing the applicant to enjoy benefits such as a work permit and the option of obtaining Panamanian citizenship after 5 years.

Work Option
This program is designed for foreigners who are hired by a Panamanian company under two modalities: 10% or 15%. The company must comply with the proportion of Panamanian workers established by law to hire a foreigner, depending on whether the position is executive, managerial or specialized technician. This program grants temporary residence, with the option to apply for permanent residence after 2 years.

Other Job Categories
This program is designed for foreigners who are hired in Panama under special employment arrangements, in sectors such as call centers, free trade zones, Panama Pacific, the Colon Free Zone, the film and audiovisual industry, and more. These programs offer renewable work permits, but most do not lead to permanent residency.

Married to National
This program is aimed at foreigners who are legally married to a Panamanian citizen. Applicants must meet a number of requirements, including a marriage interview with the immigration office. This program grants temporary residency with the option to apply for permanent residency after 2 years.

Forestry Investor (US$ 100,000 / US$ 350,000)
This program is designed for foreigners who invest in approved reforestation projects in Panama, with the possibility of obtaining residency through a minimum investment of US$100,000 or US$350,000. The investment amount can be increased by US$2,000 for each dependent included by the main applicant. Depending on the investment made, temporary or permanent residency can be chosen.

Special Investments
This program is designed for foreigners who make investments in specific sectors defined by Panamanian immigration laws. These industries include, but are not limited to, free trade zones, the Colon Free Zone, the Panama Pacific economic area, the film and audiovisual industry, and international call centers. Investment amounts vary between US$160,000 and US$250,000, depending on the industry. This program initially grants temporary residency with the option of obtaining permanent residency.

Family Reunification
This program allows foreigners with relatives who are already permanent residents in Panama to apply for temporary residence and eventually permanent residence. To apply, the applicant must demonstrate a legal relationship with the permanent resident, either as a spouse, child, or parent of the principal applicant.

Foreigner with Panamanian Child(ren)
This program is designed for foreigners who have one or more Panamanian children and wish to obtain residency in Panama. To apply, the applicant must prove the kinship with his or her Panamanian child and submit an affidavit confirming that he or she adequately fulfills his or her responsibilities as a parent. The process initially grants temporary residency, with the option of applying for permanent residency after 2 years.

Digital Nomad
This program is aimed at foreigners who work remotely for foreign companies or are independent workers who provide services to foreign companies. Applicants must earn at least US$36,000 annually and cannot work for local clients in Panama. The program grants provisional residency for 9 months, with the option to renew for another 9 months.

Naturalization
This program allows foreigners who are permanent residents of Panama to obtain Panamanian citizenship. Applicants must meet a minimum residence time in the country and demonstrate economic, professional or family ties. Depending on the country of origin or if the applicant has a Panamanian spouse or children, the time required may be reduced.
